I have found the Bird-in-Hand Village Inn a very nice facility. They have a brand new section where each room has 2 QUEEN size beds and a small refrigerator. The sitting area while a little bit on the small side, was more than adequate. There are 2 indoor pools, a game room, and miniature golf, adjacent to the hotel. Check out their website at "WWW.Bird-in-Hand.com" Good luck, though, they do book quickly.

If you want an antique experience, try the General Sutter in Lititz.

We loved Churchtown Inn, in churchtown, PA. Close to all the Amish places- bird in hand, etc, but in a quiet rural area. Great Food, terrific innkeepers, and they can refer you to wagon rides, dining places, etc. No kids under 12 were allowed when we went.

Linda:
Can't recommend a farm but Rayba Acres Farm 717 687 6729 shows a picture of room in Lancaster brochure and it looks clean. It's a working dairy farm in Paradise, PA, very close to all the sites as it is a small area. If you want more farms or B&Bs go to www.padutchcountry.com or call 1-800-PA-DUTCH.
