Husband and I visted Beverly Hills approx. 4 years ago for 4 days and just in our day to day travels (walking, driving, eating) saw many "celebrities".
Driving slowly on Rodeo Drive we saw Chaz Palmintieri (sp?) walking into a shoe store. Stood on the corner in Beverly Hills one Sunday morning with Larry King and some buddies (he had obviously just had breakfast at Nate 'n Als). Ate at Spago one night and Wolfgang Puck was in the restaurant and came through the dining room and spoke to all the patrons. Saw James Edward Olmos and Jason Alexander (separately) at The Grove on a lovely sunny afternoon. Had my picture taken with Jay Leno at the Mother's Day car show on Rodeo Drive. Saw Steve McQueen's son Chad at the same car show. Saw Owen Wilson's brother (oops I forget his name) having coffee on the patio at a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf outlet on Beverly Dr. In other words "they're everywhere, they're everywhere" ... 'cause they live there. Will be in Beverly Hills again for one night on May 5th. Hope to have a martini at Lola's in West Hollywood but understand it is Cinco de Mayo (sp?) and it will probably be wildly crowded so we may not get in. |

Best place to see a star in SoCal? Vegas! It's sooo much more compact (the celebs are either on the Strip or at the airport), and is basically SoCal East..tons of celebs all the time...

Try looking up in the sky, that's where I usually see the stars in L.A. :-P Although the big city lights of L.A. kinda overshadow the starlight. Try driving out to the mountains or desert to see more stars.
