Good news! I lived in Pacific Heights for a few months while working at a law firm in the City, and it was a nice place to live.

LOL BBQBoy - no pooper scooper for you.#o

Darby - be sure to shop Laurel Village and the shops on Sacramento. You can walk your dog at the same time...lots of fun.

Karen - rode right by Green Valley Elem. on our way to MV's graduation, in June - hotter than hades that day.

Hi TT. Yes it does get hot out there in the summer. My mom's now in cooler Oakland/ Piedmont, but she misses Danville. She lived there 55 years.

Good move Karen. Besides being cooler, Piedmont has much more soul.

Laurel Village is great! Is the Fantasia Bakery still in business?

Piedmont is a cool place TT. My brother lives there so he's only just over a mile from my mom.

darbvt congratulations! That is a great area - at one time I lived about 12 blocks from there. Your dogs will love the area. If you want a long walk up the hill through Pacific Heights and then down the Lyon steps all the way to the Palace of Fine Arts - the dogs will love it... Best of luck on your time in The City; we're all cheering for you!
