Where to live in Denver?

Moving to Denver. What are the names of the best areas to rent an apartment in and around Denver? Not in the mountains - I need city access. Thanks.

Depends on where you'll be working and what kind of commute you want. Denver is made up of many suburbs and communities such as Littleton, Aurora, Lakewood, Englewood, Parker, Highlands Ranch, etc.

I would say it depends on your budget and how much of a commute you are willing to do; the Cherry Creek area is handy but expensive.

Get a copy of the Denver Post or Rocky Mountain News and look at the real estate offerings. You can live very near downtown if you want.

Give more info on your needs and maybe we can help.

Hi Evan I topped a previous thread. As gb said its hard to make suggestions without specfics. That said I will take a stab at it. If your young and hip look at Post Properties in Uptown denver http://www.postproperties.com very close to downtown. A bit futher west is the new stapelton devolvement that has some nice apartments there is a link on the other thread. Still further west is the Lowery Devolvement.
As mitchdesj said Cherry Creek is very nice if your mid 30s+ though pricey. Hope this helps. Where are you moving from?
