Where to "just get away"?

My husband and I are looking for a place to "get away" in December - probably the week of christmas. I am open to all kinds of vacations except skiing. We would be leaving from atlanta and would like to keep our budget "in-check". I have already been to the following cities:
Chicago, Atlanta, San Fransisco, Tahoe, Reno, Vegas, Napa....but I am open to all suggestions. Help!

There's some great deals right now for Ireland.

San Diego or Palm Springs? New Orleans? Walt Disney World :)

South Florida or the Keys?

London.

London will break the bank with the exchange rate and lodging costs. Ireland is a good idea for a less expensive European get away.

New Orleans is wonderful at Christmastime!

We are not yet decided if we want to get away to somwhere warm or cold. We are open to whatever. We would like some relaxation time - and not be on the go the entire time. I am looking for a place to go that will get us away from the everyday rush - someplace that has beautiful landscape, great culture, dining, people, etc.

Banff Springs Resort in Canada. Near skiing but you don't need to. Nice Christmas celebration. Outdoor pool that is so heated you can relax in it year round. If you want to go to a city, go to europe. Fares are pretty cheap. Stay in a small town just outside a large city and you can get very reasonable hotels.

Anyone ever travel to Charleston or Sante Fe? I am also interested in Banff or lake louise. although I don't want to go away where it is bone chilling cold. Any thoughts?
