Where to Have Afternoon Tea in Chicago

Hello, I am looking for a nice place to have afternoon tea in Chicago. I know that The Drake serves - has anyone been to tea there and did you feel it was worth the money? Any other suggestions for tea? Thanks!

Two great places, Fours Seasons and the Ritz Carlton. Love them both, you can get appetizers, great champagnes by the glass. Enjoy!

Hmmm. I just answered this question a couple of weeks ago...

The Hotel Burnham has a nice tea if your in the Loop area.

The Penninsula is also supposed to have a lovely tea and is the current "in" place to take tea.HTH,
RACY

The Drake Hotel also has a wonderful afternoon tea. I only know this because my wife enjoys dragging me there each Christmas.

I've enjoyed tea at The Drake many times --especially with the view of the lake. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Thanks everyone, these are great suggestions! Howard, It's good to know that you enjoyed the Drake - I'll be "dragging" my husband too and it's nice to know that another man has survived the High Tea Experience! Thanks!
