Where to go in Mid Nov

Looking for a place to celebrate our 25th! We live in CA and would prefer warmer rather than colder weather. Have been to New Orleans once and loved it- a strong possiblity although I would prefer to try Quebec but am concerned about it being too cold and not the best time of year to visit. Have never been to the Keys or most places in the SE. We love good food, nice hotels, urban as well as rural, and are quite flexible. It just needs to memorable! We welcome all ideas.

How about Naples/Sanibel area? The weather is beautiful that time of year. There are beautiful hotels and great restaurants.

Key West is probably a safe bet, though suggest you consider ((r))Maui((r)) or ((d))Cancun, B-) Mexico if you want something highly memorable. :S-

For your 25th anniversary, you might prefer Playa del Carmen over Cancun. Very nice all inclusive hotels.

Sharkmom,
Disney (Orlando) is great in November. No CROWDs and cooler temps. Fun and escape! The parks can be very romantic in the evening. Consider one of the resorts around the Boardwalk (more grownups without kids). Also you can walk into EPCOT from the Boardwalk. I have been to New Orleans many times in November - love it. Again fewer people and cooler temps. Have fun!!

Sorry, wasn't paying close enough attention.

New Orleans is definitely the better bet climate-wise - if you can still book - it's a very busy month/conventions.

Do you mean Quebec City? If so, it will surely be chilly, if not very cold. Though, and nice inn or B&B with fireplaces and jacuzzis would provide a magnificent experience. Montreal is another fabulous destination. But, the better bet is to visit either of these places/or both during nicer weather.

Hi Sharkmom,

The north shore, Oahu is beautiful that time of year... surf's up and the weather is great. So much to do & see on Oahu, plus you might catch some of the surfing championship competions.

Very romantic spot for sunset walks on the beach.... and much to explore around the island for days.

Whatever you choose.... happy anniversary. By the way, my husband & I are celebrating our 20th next month in Carmel. We'll be exploring the surrounding coast. Can't wait.

Enjoy yours!
