Where to go in Hawaii where there are limited number of kids
Does anyone know where in Hawaii you could go in July and not have a lot of kids around?
Any help is greatly appreciated!!! I hear Maui and Kaui are bad in July and August. |
Honestly, no. But if you're willing to go to Lanai or Molokai I'd give it a shot. Was at the Manele Bay hotel 1st week of july and was able to find secluded areas. The pool wasn't too* bad either. But if you're flexible I'd try other months besides summer.

Try Halekulani in Waikiki, the Makena Prince on Maui or Hualalai on the Big Island.

...or the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel on the Big Island.

I've stayed at the 4S BI in July & it was pretty full with families. I can't imagine the Hale. not being crowded since it's pretty centrally located.

I would guess the Makena Prince on Maui would be good, because of it's location and *personality.* I can't imagine there being a lot of kids there. Also, what about a beach cottage or luxury B&B accommodations where they have pool, hot tub, beautiful scenery, and don't allow children?

We have tons of Marriott points. Do you think that Kauai is out of the question? Somehow, I believe the answer is yes, but just checking. Thanks!!

Shelly, the only way you can guarantee what you want is to go for an adults-only resort in some exotic locale.....;-) Of all the Kauai Marriotts, I would think the one on Kalapaki Beach might have fewer families, because it is the most expensive, I believe...... but in July and August, you're going to have little rugrats almost everywhere, God bless 'em!
