How about a couple of clues?

Who/how many are you - ages and genders?

How long do you have?

What to you like to do/what interests do you have (shopping, musuems, kayaking, clog dancing)???

What type of budget do you have?

For a start - how about reading a couple of guidebooks - and the section on New York in desinations above?

Start in Manhattan.

Go and see the lords of Flatbush, and then drive surface streets adjacent the Shore Parkway and hum the themesong from "Welcome Back Kotter".

Then have a self-guided walking tour of South Orange, New Jersey.

Finally, on the last night of your trip, dine at one of those rest stops on the New Jersey Turnpike.

Niagara Falls, Adirondacks, Finger Lakes, Catskills, etc - june is a very nice month in all of these areas.

Little cool usually in June for the beach, so I'd stay away from Long Island.

Buffalo

When you say NY, do you mean NY State or NY City? There's SO much more to NY than the city.

If you mean NY State, don't miss driving around Hamilton and Syracuse: truly God's country, as my mother put it.

If you mean NYC, well, we need more info. Are there children along? Are you energetic? What is the budget? Do you like fine dining?

Although this post is very old, and I am laughing with the rest of you, it is important 2 note that travel 2usa was coming in from another area and never returned to the conversation.

Oh c'mon, you were laughing most at my offerings from Feb. 2006, and we both know it!
