Where to eat in Dundee, Oregon?
Heading to the Willamette Valley in June. Where should we go for meals in Dundee and McMinnville?
|
Nick's Italian Cafe in downtown McMinnville!

In Dundee, your best choice is probably Dundee Bistro.
In addition to Nick's, Bistro Maison is good in McMinnville. |

We have had excellent experiences at the Dundee Bistro, our last meal was this past October when we were in Dundee grape picking to make our own Pinot Noir. Great food, ambiance, and you can sample the Ponzi wines at the adjacent tasting bar. Cheers and enjoy the wine country! ***kim*** ((#))

Thanks for the help. This is a great way to plan a trip while sitting in Pittsburgh!

It is great to get information here on these forums..without hardly even waiting :)
FYI- Just don't think that you can go to the vineyards and pick grapes :) They don't allow people to come in and get the stuff that is leftover from the vineyards picking, until late fall. |
Scarlett...no, we don't plan on grape picking! We just enjoy wine country....and need a change from Napa, even though we love it. Wine country during the week is good for us; quiet, fewer people and no ressies at the resturants, nice scenery and good food. And of course, we always find a few good bottles.

lol, cwg, I don't think many people do. So much work!! picking in the rain and mud, hauling it home in a truck..I know we prefer getting it already in a bottle :D
I really do miss Oregon Pinot Noirs. Argentina is known for good wine, but I just have this Thing for Oregon Pinot ((D)) Have a great time! In McMinnville there is a really nice bakery..my friends mms and beachbum have both been on holiday but they know these areas well .. actually they know then like their own backyards lol..hopefully they will be posting here soon with some new ideas. |
