Where To Dine In the Big Apple

If you had no budget restraints, where would you recommend?

However, if you were limited to say $60/night for dinner (with wine), what would you recommend?

How about a "fun" lunch place?

Question #1: Where does one begin? Le Bernardin, Daniel, Le Cirque 2000, Aureole, La Grenouille....there are so many!
Question #2: Our favorite is Chez Josephine. A couple others in that price range (assume you mean $60 includes tip): Remi, the prix fixe dinner at Four Seasons.

Union Square Cafe it answers both of your questions.
there is a web site run by arthur schwartz, who is a NY "foodie" who has a daily radio show called "food talk". he is really a restaurant maven and the site lists a bunch of nyc restaurants, plus you can email him and he will personally respond. arthurschwartz.com

I agree with Howard, Chez Josephine is great! The service is efficient, the food is really delicious (try the warm lobster salad) and the place is fun!
