Where to break up Yosemite to Monterey Drive with Toddler?

Is there a good place to break up the drive from Yosemite to Monterey with a toddler? Just for an hour or so, not an overnight?

At Casa de Fruta on the 156! A cold drink and a piece of fruit will keep your little one happy! We've been stopping there since I was a little girl. It's on the Monterey side of Hollister and has a picnic/play area... kind of hard describe actually but a great place to stretch your legs and use the facilities.

Casa de Fruta on Hwy. 152, Pacheco Pass. Or, San Juan Bautista - cute little town with the mission to explore.

Yep - Casa de Fruta is what I was going to recommend too. I like SJB too.

it's unanimous - Casa de Fruita if you mostly want an hour's rest/food/run around/stretch stop.

San Juan Bautista if you want more of a two hour 'real sightseeing' stop.

San Juan Bautista is great too! Do they still have that wonderful Mexican bakery? Also, the mission there is very nice to tour and there is a great Mexican restaurant called Jardine's that will keep you happy!

Enjoy!
