where to?
Seasoned travelers w/companion ticket to burn!!! trying to figure out where...
Santa Fe, Northern Califonia [Sonoma], Hawaii Arizona? Not really hiker, climbers, have had a way too busy year...looking to veg a bit .Husband has very poor cirulation in bothlower legs and flies all over the world for work. Really looking for a low key treat thanks .b |
If you want to veg out, Hawaii is a pretty good place. You don't have to go anywhere or see anything or do anything to enjoy yourself and feel you've had a real vacation.
You could do Sonoma and stay at the Sonoma Mission Inn and do the full spa treatment thing. Just don't be tempted to go sight seeing. |
thanks, we were sort of coming to that conclusion and have been to Maui/Waikiki once. will start the research....like Maui/liked the sunset from the old plantation style Sheraton in Waikiki but too city for a truly lazy vacation.thanks again

The Northern California coast from Mendocino to Point Reyes is always one of our favorites. We never tire of that trip.

Two words. Big. Island.
Ideal for passive/active stays - get a hotel or condo on the Kohala coast, splash at Hapuna Beach, day trips south to Kona coffee plantations, visit the Parker Ranch upcountry areas (gorgeous beyond words); head around to Hilo past waterfalls and on to the volcano... great restaurants, funky cafes, lots and lots of variety, all of it low-key and very relaxing. Yikes, where's my flight bag? |
