Where stay in Seattle?

You can walk to the stadium from the W or many downtown hotels. I second The Fairmont, awesome.
They're going to Husky Stadium.
As for taxis after the game, I suspect the town car/SUV may be a little more money but a lot more convenient. The area around Husky Stadium is a total zoo right after the games. That said, there a bazillion buses that go downtown parked close to the stadium, or you could walk through the campus or past the hospital/med school (15 min.) to Campus Parkway where there are more buses heading downtown.

Have just returned from our trip to Seattle and Husky Stadium. We liked the W a lot, altho we would have liked to have had coffee pots in our rooms (we bought them and brought our Louisiana coffee). My biggest negative was the darkness in the halls. We should have been given flashlights to get around. That being said the staff was really great - no problems and they did help us with several things. Husky Stadium was another thing - had to leave at half because we could not see anything. With the track between us and the field and sitting on those poor old boards for seats we were miserable. The Husky fans were, however, very gracious and a lot of fun. It was fun being in their midst
So glad we weren't at the Marriott. Some friends were and they didn't like the location at all, so thanks to all of yall who steered us away.
