Where should we eat?

Hi everyone. Will be in NO for just 3 nights. Can anyone recommend a great restaurant for us? Are considering Muriel's, Mr. B's, Brennan's, Brigtsen's and Bayonna for possible dinners. Anyone have a favorite? Should we make reservations before we leave home? Have read so-so reviews about Court of 2 Sisters for dinner, but how is it for lunch? Thanks.

Of those you've mentioned, had very good meals at Mr. B's and Bayonna.

Mr. B's might be a better choice for lunch. Had dinner at Brennan's and got the distinct feeling it was living off the name and past glory. OK, not memorable.

Would also suggest the Napolean House, NOLA, and the Pelican Club.

Court of 2 Sisters isn't worth it. The reviews for breakfast are correct. Given that, I wouldn't expect them to be any better at dinner.

"Where should we eat?" is too vague a title. You probably clicked on some search criteria, but that's only to help the system index your topic ... we don't see that and your message gets posted into one big "United States" forum with that title.

"New Orleans Dining Suggestions" would be a better title, but I'd bet a search would produce some good results too. Try the search, then try reposting with a better title if your questions are still unanswered. Welcome to Fodors.

We had a very good, very memorable anniversary dinner last year at Arnaud.

FABULOUS Bananas Foster for dessert!

Ralph & Kagoo's is where the locals go for cheap and good food. Not a fancy place but food was tasty. It was a recommendation from our taxi driver. He drove us to NOLA's and to our disappointment it was closed for a couple of days. He suggested his favorite, R&K--and we can't wait to return there. In the French Quarters.
