Where should I (21 CA) go in Las Vegas so I may leave regretless?

My boyfriend is taking me to Las Vegas for my 21st birthday in June.

My interests are in Paris, Mandalay Bay, Mirage, and MGM but I'm definately open minded. I'm looking for some of the following:

*tropical/ animal and fish setting
*romantic luxury
*Pleasant ambiance
*pool and gym
*proximity to the strip
*Night life
*sexy Vegas dancers
*hip clubs...

And what not. Please give me your opinion because I don't want to have any regrets about this decision when I get there.

Thanks! Your replys are all really helpful.

I swear by Mandalay now. That is also *the* spot for your age group. Paris would be second choice.

Although it is the location I like the least of the ones you listed, I'd agree with Biscuit that it is your best option for what you have described. And not to worry, the location isn't that bad, just a little less central on the strip than the others.

I would go to Bellagio. It is most of those items to the hilt, and right in the middle of things so you can find anything not there in the surrounding hotels. The pool area, gym, and spa are luxurious. "O," their in-house Cirque de Soleil show is one of the best shows I've seen anywhere ever. The restaurants are very good (the higher end ones anyway), with a high romance factor.

There's a LOT of hype surrounding the Palms Casino-- but it seems to be THE hot place in LV right now. You should check it out, since it seems to offer a lot of fun stuff for people your age. The nightclub there is supposed to be wild. Have fun!

I agree that Mandalay is the best match for your crieteria, location being weakness, everything else being strong except for the "sexy Vegas dancers". Not sure what your looking for there...

You can also walk over to Ra (club) at Luxor.

If by "sexy Vegas dancers" you mean the girls wearing 40 pounds of feathers, the best old-style show is Jubilee, at Bally's. The dancers are great, and there will be plenty of stuff for your boyfriend to ogle at. If you meant big nightclubs, then try Baby's at the Hard Rock or Ra at Luxor or the clubs at Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, or the Palms. If you want another kind of sexy dancer, well, Fodors might not be the right venue to get that sort of info, but Vegas has plenty of that, too.
