Where is the best place to stay in Rhode Island?

As far as luxury hotel, location and things to do in November or December? May consider B&B. Thanks for any suggestions.

Are you thinking of any place specific in RI? Many luxury (and high -priced)inns and B&Bs are in Newport, and the mansions that are open all year (a few are) are specially decked out for the holidays

Westin is fanciest, Mariott Courtyard should be fine and the old hotel with character is the Biltmore. Depends on your taste as to which is best. I think there are some B and Bs on the East Side which is a very pretty historic area near Brown and RISD and there should be theater, dining, skating and Christmas stuff to do... I think you would enjoy it.
