My friend said Excaliber was great! We're planning a trip over the holidays and had chosen Excaliber for the kids and also because she said the food choices were great. Please give me your thoughts.......

we were not impressed with MGM's buffet at all. We stayed there about a year ago and while the food was pretty good (nothing special) they made us wait to be seated even though there were plenty of seats- these happened both times we went to the buffet. We expressed our frustration with this needless wait to the staff on both occasions and the first time they seemed disinterested and the second time they were downright rude (at which point we walked out). The hotel was OK but I will stay elsewhere next time.
