Why is it that when people can only afford Budweiser, living in a trailer, or buying a truck that they are considered white trash? I have met trash that live in million dollar homes in Bev Hills and drink Dom. Let's not categorize people based on what they can afford and base it on what type of person they are.

TT is right. Remember Joey Buttafuco? He packed up his family and moved to the hills, Bevery Hills, that is!

Where'd white trash come from? I think a blue collar town is a virtue.

Sorry guys, but Pittsburgh is not a blue collar town. Plenty of artsy fartsy people there. Now if you want to go to a blue collar town to eat and drink, Wisconsin is the place to be. Green Bay, Sheboygan etc. I wouldn't necessarily want to live in these place, but mosey into a bar and you'll always have a good time. I love going to these places.Bratwurst, beer, and in my opinion, the friendliest people in the country. I'm not from Wisconsin either, as a matter of fact I'm a F.I.B. Since I'm a gentleman, I won't tell you what that stands for.

Well duh X. Every city has blue collar bars, even New York. However Pittsburgh has a widely acclaimed Symphony and art museums, so you are out of the running.
Sorry.

I'm a fib and also like go to Wisconsin taverns, especially the Milwaukee corner Pabst bars. The best thing about going to Wisconsin bars, besides the cheap beer and drunk women, is that I'm always guaranteed to be the most handsome guy in the place.

Hey pal, I'd hit you, but I don't think I could hit a Francois. That would be kind of like hitting a Sylvester or a Herbert.

Message to La vielle Raison:
You must be one of those ungrateful Parisians who lives in denial about the fact that American soldiers saved your butts, city, and precious art and buildings during World War II.

I live in a suburb outside Pittsburgh and must state that it is no longer a steel town. There use to be steel mills right on the Monongahela River bank and they are long gone (since the late 70s). Many white collar/Yuppie types now, although there are blue collar jobs here too, but like all other cities, there is blend of every occupation.
