Where Is It warm In Winter For Vacation?

I'm from North Dakota and want to go to the warmest place in the US for my January vacation.
I want to be able to swim and sun every day Is California the best place, or is Texas or Louisiana better?

I'm sorry, but this question is getting a little tiresome. Didn't you people take geography in school? The only place in the contiguous states guaranteed warm enough to go swimming in January is southern Florida.

Some can't believe this question is askd over and over again. What amazes me as how stupid anyone can be. It is obviously Florida.

I live in San Diego, and today we are supposed to reach 71, but January can be as low as 50's and high as 70's. Often it rains 2 or 3 days a week in January. And the ocean here is nothing like Florida. It's warmest temp is about 70 degrees in August. In winter 55 degrees!

Hell is always warm year round.
no beaches though but plenty of Stucky's pecan logs.

Ever think about checking on weather.com? I am sure they have average high temperatures for the month of January.

Even Florida can get chilly in the winter, although it's rare.

I would consider Puerto Rico, the Bahamas or the Virgin Islands.
