where is Costco on the Big Island?
somewhere in or near Kona?

|
As I recall, it's near the airport, on the opposite side of the highway, a bit south.

Elberko's response is right on !!

There is also a K-Mart and Wal-Mart further down the road and Safe-way groceries. I bought all my film, towels, snorkel gear at Wal-Mart.

Oh my gawd - you go to Hawaii to go to Cosco???!!!
|
yeah, we stay in a condo and shop for breakfast, lunch, and snacks at costco or other large store and save money...we eat most dinners out...that way we can afford to stay in a nicer condo and travel more often...got a problem with that?

Seems to me that someone who complains about a $10 parking fee after saving some dough from Priceline shouldn't put down others who would stop off at Costco in Hawaii. >) |
It's also a good place to fill up the gas tank before returning your car to the airport.

omigod, what, we have (weenie57)A Princess on board? Hawaii is Expensive, why not save a few bucks on food, film, beer, towels, gear, to counter the $700-$1000 plane ticket (each),the $180+ night hotel, the $5.00 Coors lite at the pool bar????? Geeeez. We're all just trying to have as much fun on what we have!!! We spent $1300 just on food and fun for a week, (Free air and hotel and free car rental)
