where is Beartooth Highway

I have looked on our maps and I can not see Beartooth Highway. Is it called anything else?
We will be coming from the east along the 80.We need to go to Jackson before Yellowstone and heading north.Which route would you take?

Try this link: http://www.byways.org/browse/byways/2167/. This is really a great road and brings you to the NE entrance of Yellowstone in WY. We did it in August and going up the mountain, there was snow on the side of the road. I think it's US212 on an atlas. Don't know about route from Jackson as we did it coming from Montana.

If you have to go to Jackson first, you will want to EXIT Yellowstone at the northeast entrance. This is Beartooth Hwy (towards Red Lodge Montana).

Even if you just exit the park as a "special trip" for the drive to Red Lodge or Cody & back. Both directions totally different views & great drive.

It is Hwy 212 between the Roosevelt Lodge area in Yellowstone to Red Lodge Montana.

I know this is an old post, but how approximately how long would would it take to drive from Cody to Roosevelt Lodge via this highway? We need to make the 3pm horseback ride to the cookout on the 5th of July. Can we do it?
