Hi, We are coming to Boston on the 6th April for two weeks. We would like to stay in a suite, we have seen some the Hyatt somerfield suites, has anyone stayed there before? Would you reccomend them? We would also like to see The Boston Red Sox. Is it easy to get tickets for the games for a family of 4?

Also is it best to buy a Boston Card to do things like the Boston Duck Tours and other interesting things around Boston?

Many thanks for you help.

The nearest Summerfield suites are in the suburbs, which would add hassles and costs for getting into the city that might outbalance any savings in the room rate.

As far as "Go Boston" or other cards that give discounts for a variety of attractions, their value depends on how many of the activities you plan to do, so each traveler has to do their own cost/benefit figuring. Many of the most interesting things to do in Boston are free.

Adrian2000, welcome to Fodors. You'll probably get more responses if you post your question as a whole new topic. You'll be able to retrieve it easily by clicking on your own name to pull it up.

For the budget minded - we stayed in revere at a hampton inn near the airport. they offered shuttle service to and from a T station 10 minutes away. If I remember correctly, it was only 3 stops to downtown. We found it very convenient.
