Where can I get National Park pass for seniors,in NC

I am trying to figure out how to get a senior National Park pass. The NPS website says they have to be obtained in person at a participating facility that charges fees. Can't find one on the list of National Park sites in North Carolina (we are near Raleigh).
Would like to obtain one in advance of our trip, as we will be making camping reservations.

I took the liberty of researching this, since I'm interested too.

It seems that the Golden Age Passport has been replaced by "America the Beautiful – National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass – Senior Pass" <http://store.usgs.gov/pass/senior.html>. Same eligibility: 62+. Same cost - $10 lifetime.

It looks like the web site is vague about where to purchase a pass, but they do provide a toll-free number: 1-888-ASK-USGS and press 1.

We had no problem getting one at Muir Woods. Same place as we would have paid our fee for the day. Just needed a driver's license.

The Senior Pass accomplishes nothing until you arrive at a NPS site that charges an entrance fee. It can be acquired at the entrance station of any such site. Thus, you may wish to wait till you need it in order to acquire it.
As best as I can tell, the nearest such site to Raleigh would be Shenandoah NP. I was amazed to find out that Great Smokies NP charges no admission fee.

...and it's a wonderful bargain! My conscience bothers me every time I read about the financial woes of the National Park Service and realize that all I have contributed is ten bucks about 20 years ago.
