Where can I get discounted lift tickets?
We plan to take our family of six to the Park City area for Xmas? We'll need lift tickets for 6 days. Does anyone know where I can find discounted lift tickets? Last year I found a ski shop in SLC that offered a deal; but, I can't find the name. Help, please.

Last Christmas we purchased discounted tickets in the SLC airport - next to baggage claim. I don't remember how significant the discount was, but any discount is a good discount IMO.

I would put some internet time in. There is a website called ski utah, I believe. Here on the East Coast the New Jersey Ski council provides discounted lift tickets to selected resorts ON THE EAST COAST. I am guessing something similar websites/clubs exists in Utah. Maybe the Utah Ski Council? You join for 30-40 dollars but make it back savings on the lift. I ski in Sugarbush Vermont for $35 when the lift ticket is closer to $60.
ok you also might want to ask on a great ski forum a fellow fodortie shared with me. www.epic.com They will be able to help you. |
sorry that website is www.epicski.com
They helped me buy my skis I think it is the best ski forum on the internet. A number of serious ski bums frequent the sight. |
Check and see whether Park City has any kind of "guest card". I have a Steamboat Card that offers a variety of discount; don't remember if it was for lift tickets, but it was for lessons, rentals, etc. You might need some sort of coupon that is given out by the local businesses there.

The 3 ski areas in Park City (Deer Valley, Park City Mtn Resort & The Canyons) used to offer a 3 area interchangable multi-day pass, which equals a significant discount. I believe it is called the Silver Pass. Call one of the areas and ask if it's still available.
You can also get discount tickets at Smith's grocery stores ticket counters. Even some gas stations. Have fun! |
