Isn't Rochester on a Great Lake and a short drive from the Finger Lakes?

Iwould hope so since rooms with tax are $500-600 plus.

The Adirondacks, obviously. What kinds of places do you like to stay at?

This getaway is for my parents. They have been to the Adirondacks many times and we live pretty close to Lake Ontario. I;m not sure what their budget is, but I know they only want to go from Friday to Sunday. Thanks for the help!
