Where are SVU show being shot in June?

Looking to watch some episodes of Law and Order SVU being shot in the city in June. Anyone know where and when?

Have you seen the show being shot before? Is it way cool?

No, i just missed some one year but did see a great scene in Washington Square Park for NYPD Blue and it was awesome. Dennis Franz was very gracious. I would love to know where to head to see some SVU scenes. Any hints?

Scenes from a L&O episode were shot in and around the NYC apartment building we lived in. Mostly what you see around an episode shoot are lots of trailors with loud generators and what seems like miles of cables, and a gazillion black t-shirted staff with earpieces, cell phones, walkie-talkies and clipboards.
In Philly, we lived around the corner from the house the Bruce Willis character and his wife lived in for the movie Sixth Sense. We watched some of that filming. It's interesting...for a while. But it can quickly get boring.

It's hard to tell in advance - you usually just see all the trailers pulled up the night before. Earlier in the week they were shooing near 18th St - but it changes every day.

You could try calling the city info # - 311 - they might tell you which city department to call - but unlike movies that do several days in one place the TV shows rarely do more than one day anywhere.

Best bets are near Foley Square for courthouse scenes - bu they don;t do that for every show.

(They do a lot on the upper west side since the traffic is less - have done tons on Broadway in the 80's/90's, one on my block and 2 in neighborhood restaurants we go to frequently.)
