So many hurricane threads, can't figure out just where to post!!
Just talked to my Aunt who is on the Gulf Coast in the Panhandle so they are waiting to see until Monday, but meanwhile packing up and taking the causeway into Fort Walton and daughters house. Her granddaughter will stay there with the animals.
I can't believe this, much of the storm is STILL out over the Atlantic now on Sunday morning!

She has been doing the hurricane dance all her life down there- (she's 80) and was telling me that back in '38, before they had all of the current weather technology, they would predict storms by consulting with the Seminole Tribe, who would observe the behaviour of animals...

Keep hanging on to your hats, and stay inside!
