'Bludgeon' = building. Darn auto correct.

Pizza.

But I don't have just one favorite pizza place.

Shedd isnt much different except its set in amazing building that feels like it extends into Lake Michigan. Would definitely recommend it.

I would also recommend Chicago Architecture Foundation Cruise .

I never miss doing a board search and guidebook look-through before every trip I take. I've posted info on this city here, for a start.

What's the popcorn place that's so famous in Chicago? That's where i'm going if I ever go back to Chicago.

Garrett's

Most of mine are food-related: Lou Malnati's for pizza, garretts for popcorn, and the Macy's building on State Street (because I love the building and also to buy Frangos). Non-food favorites include the Architecture boat tour (try to buy tickets in advance), stained glass exhibit at the Navy Pier and the Art Institute.
Have fun!

That Tiffany dome at the Cultural Center--walk around that building(it was the library at one time)and you will find another beautiful domed ceiling. Beautiful building--I always make a stop there--There is visitor information on the ground floor

Oak Park area - to see the many Frank Lloyd Wright homes.

Boat ride which includes both the river and along lake Michigan, Shedd Aquarium, a drink to see the view from the Hancock bldg top floor. Also another vote for the Tiffany dome at the Cultural Center and the mosaics on the wall there.
Gino's East for Pizza. Stained glass at the Navy Pier. Waling along the Lakefront to the Aquarium. Have fun!!
