When to go?

Hi Annie,
Its a big help when you put as much info in the subject as possible. While it looks like this forum is divided in sections, those sections are actually just for searching after the face. I made the same mistake myself!
I don't know the answer to your question, but I am jealous - I wish I was going with you!
Good luck.

Annie, it is anyone's guess what the weather will be like in February in Charleston. It could be 80 and it could be 30 degrees. Keep watching the weather channel. Feb is a little early for the azaleas but we have other stuff that blooms at that time.

Thanks for the comments. I should have been more specific. Basically, I plan to go for a 4-5 day visit to both Charleston and Savannah, either now or in the spring. The architecture, history, and overall magic are there all year around, Im sure. I wonder if sunny outdoor sightseeing and leisurly activities like neighborhood strolling and breakfast on River Street are best saved for the bloom of the spring months for fullest effect. I will definitely check the seasonal weather patterns for hard data, but Id love any comments you have about winter vacationing in the area.
