When is your ideal time to visit NYC?
As a long time poster on the message board I have always been interested in a visit to NYC. I just looked at USA today in the garden section and I must say that the Brooklyn Gardens seem to be beautiful in the spring! I have also considered the fall because my husband and I were married in early November. In terms of crowds and great weather, when is your favorite time to see the Big Apple?

May/early June are usually beautiful - not too hot yet. And late Spet/Oct also usually have good weather - but will be more expensive for hotesl since you're on the way into high season.
Avoid July and Aug - just too hot for all the walking and outdoor touring you do in NYC.
By November gardens will be mostly brown and crunchy - and hotel prices sky high.
