When is Spring Break 2009 in CA?
 

I'm thinking of going to Disneyland for a couple of days Fri-Sat, March 20-21, 2009.

Does anyone know yet when Spring Break is in California?

I'm wondering if the crowds will be crazy. Thx for any info.

"Spring break" varies greatly from school to school, whether primary school or university. So it's hard to say whether your dates will overlap. But I'd say it's entirely possible.

Having said that, March is certainly a better time for Disneyland than summer (last time I went there in summertime, we only stayed half a day, and then just gave up, it was so crowded). Also, if you're going there for two days, you are in a better position to deal with crowds, as you can space things out a bit, not be in such a rush to fight the crowds to see everything in one day.

Our spring break is April 6 - 10.

As Raymond states, it varies from district to district. Our local elementary district spring break is also, April 6-10. However, many of the CSUs (California State Universities) have the week of March 16-20 as spring break.

Nope, don't count on missing any of the crowds. Mid March is spring break in a lot of places - it's not only Californians who visit Disney.

It totally varies...anytime from the week before Easter to 3 weeks after Easter. Happy Travels!
