when is bike week in Myrtle beach?

We are potentially planning a trip and do not want to be there for bike week - nothing against bikers, its just not our speed. Also, is Kingston Plantation ok for a 1 year old?

Thanks!

I am pretty sure it is over memorial day weekend...I have heard horror stories of what you might encounter../sounds like spring break in new orleans with the constant booby show

My husband and I stayed in KP. They had a wonderful area for children, a little water park, slides etc. Yes I think it is ideal for families. it is one of the nicest resorts I saw. We enjoyed our stay in KP. As for the Bike show it is no where near like Sturges in South Dakota. Nothing quite as wild.It is May 9-18th. I would still want to avoid it. I think it is centered around Murrells Inlet.

There are two bike weeks -- one black and one white. Don't know when either one is, but someone else might.

Black biker week is always at Memorial Day, so I would avoid both the week before and after. Harley week is earlier, usually some time in March.

We were there during the first weekend in October. There were hundreds of bikers in town that weekend. Whether it was an official biker week(end) or not, there did seem to be an organized gathering.

Rudy, because Harley Week brings in so much revenue to the Grand Strand, the local businesses added a fall bike rally. It is usually around 25,000 bikes whereas the spring rally is around 400,000.
