sofee.

The bagalini might work for your needs, too. The middle section is made for a laptop, but I don't use it for that. The larger back section opens flat and works REALLY well as a small suitcase.

I really like this bag!

I work in an accounting office - part time in the office and part time at home, so I "schlep" tons of paperwork back and forth, plus laptop. The year I started this schedule(2000) I bought myself an American Tourister wheeled briefcase off of ebags. It is not leather and I think it was around $100 at the time. Best money I ever spent - beats all those chiroprator appointments And, when my husband saw how great mine worked, he was jealous so he went online and bought his own - guess we're both dorks

OK, got my bag out of the closet and had a good look at it.

Yes, I would descibe the fabric as crinkle nylon, and the piping is the same fabric, so not plastic.

The lining color is the same color as the piping.

Thanks, Liz...
I went ahead and ordered the black one with blue trim.
First I registered on the Norm Thompson website for promo information and they immediately sent me a 10% off e-coupon.
So it came up to 130.00 with shipping and all... MUCH less than every other site.
I actually like the beige one better but I think the black one will wear better.
Again, I really appreciate all the feedback.
New bag, new comfy SOFFT shoes... now I just need to find some decent looking shirts to go with my new pants and I will be ready to go

Just an update...
Got the case.
It is pretty much the size of my briefcase, maybe just a little bigger.
That is perfect!
I ordered the black one in the photo, it has a blue trim, which I was NOT crazy about... well, they sent me a black one with khaki trim which is PERFECT!
I'll need to get a laptop sleeve since this case does not have one built in.
Anyway, thanks again for the tip. This is exactly what I needed at the price I expected to pay.
