What's with the red-checked shirt that floats across the Grand Canyon when you're in Fodors' home page?

It reminds me of either laundry day or a Mid-East head wrap.

I'd never noticed it before, but went back and checked it and it is strange. What does the checked shirt have to do with anything at all?

Maybe they associate plaid with the outdoors??!!??

I thought it was an invitation to vacation with Norm Abrams (sp?). You know, tour the New Yankee Workshop and all.

It's part of the Flagstaff ad on the right hand side of the screen. The shirt moves from one place to the other. Still not sure what the plaid shirt means, though.
