What's the WEATHER where you are?

Since our entire nation is having some pretty erratic weather with extreme heat, drought, and rainfall, I thought it might be interesting to see what the weather is right now in your neck of the woods . . . ah, I mean, in your area.

New Orleans - 90s with severe thunderstorms. We have gone from severe drought since Katrina to having regular severe thunderstorms with wind and heavy rain over the last week.

Austin, TX--somewhere around 100° and very humid, as usual for this time of year. UGH, I hate summer in TX.

LOL! With you BayouGal in the Deep South. I'm on the coast of South Carolina.

Either the heat or Monday has gotten to my brain!

It's a million degrees in Atlanta. In fact, I think I live on the sun.

Lately getting in my car after parking at the gym, temp has read 112. Burned myself on my seatbelt. Jeez.

So much cooler this morning in San Francisco, feels so good!

Yesterday was so baking hot! Even drinking water didn't help.

Kal, jogging? I picture you crawling instead

Hazy and Hot. 103 yesterday in Palo Alto. It is supposed to be a little cooler today (98). I was at Santa Cruz yesterday and it was lovely! 85 with a slight breeze. Coming home the outside temp gauge on our car read 120 going through Boulder Creek, but it cooled doen to 118 by the time we drove through Los Gatos. Help!

Gorgeous day, partly cloudy, current temp 81 at 2:30 PM. Supposed to be in the mid-80s (60s at night) the rest of the week. Come and visit us!

100 at least for today. It's been over 100 for the last five or six days. Had a HUGE thunder storm on Saturday night I think it was. Tons and tons of lightning strikes which is a real fire danger, and as typical of the desert, it poured rain for about 15 minutes...not enough to really wet anything but enough to raise the humidity and to cause flash floods on some of the roads. I am really getting sick of this. I just do NOT feel fresh. LOL Oh yea, I'm in Reno.

I'm in Marietta, a suburb of Atlanta, and it is supposed to be in the high 80's for the next few days, and then we will be re-subjected to another round of +90 degree temps. And to think that the summers here last seven months!
