The most we've lost in one trip... not over $50 between the two of us.

We only play a cheap slot machine for fun, not really gambling.

My cousin once lost $1,000, or so he told his parents.

I worked with a man who's addicted to gambling. His family did not see a penny, he'd take his paycheck and cash in a casino, losing it all!

Another co-worker went to Las Vegas and lost 2 of her paychecks there. She is so angry with Vegas now (not with herself!) and tells me every now and then she'll never go to that city! LOL

Won - about $450 - playing machine poker.

Lost: $20 in 2 minutes in LV this last June. Stopped then and there. I didn't want to do any more damage.

The year was 2003, I won 560 dollars playing Black Jack at the Bellagio. I was piss drunk, had been drinking most of the day at the rio pool and voodo lounge. My lovely wife standing behind me at a table with 4 drunk canadians (married couple and friends), who lived in a town across the border from the town my wife and I met in. It was a lively table. And it payed for our airfare.

$1200 in 30 minutes on a craps table at Caesar's Palace in July. The guys next to use (who were betting MUCH more) won $$$$$!

I play in casino for about 2 hours each time and about 10 times a year.

Lake Tahoe last year, Vegas other years, Detroit once etc.- never travel to gamble- just if they happen to be in a baseball city or trip I'm going on anyway. Vegas was always on the way to an aunt in Bull Head City, Az.

Most I've lost in 3 days is about $200. I'm low level Blackjack, video poker or slots player. I don't play poker- too expensive.
Craps I only play very, very occasionally.

I've got a streak going at 4 Winds in New Buffalo, MI.- stop there for about 1-1/2 hours each 4 o 5 weeks coming home from MI if the timing is right.

Since May, I haven't lost there. Biggest win was yesterday. I went in at 2 with $62, never played my own money at all- won on their $10 free play coupon right away- $89 on a penny slot (Treasures of Troy) and when I left at 3:30- I had just under $300.

My biggest win ever was at the Empress in Joliet IL- I messed up on a quarter Sphinx slot and bet wrong and won $790. My girlfriend who was with me had not even checked our coats in yet. It was heavy snow mid-winter and I ended up watching her play the whole rest of the time. It was just too unconscious, and I felt I just didn't want to give it back that day.

I'm lucky in raffles.

The biggest win I ever had was a 7 day trip to Florida, the AA fares for two- and a Marriott house with pool on the golf course in Kississimee. I was totally broke at the time and took my grown daughter. We had a ball.

A family member is a frequent visitor to Foxwood Casino in Connecticut. Several years ago, she won $13,000 from a slot machine.

And yes, she still goes, however hasn't repeated that streak of luck.

About $1200 on a Vegas trip, probably more if you count comps. That was all won in an afternoon at a roulette table (where I was down to nothing twice) & the rest in the sports book (basketball & horses). Losses = $400. You aren't likely to make $$ at the table games (except for blackjack) but you can make $$ in the sports book. But either/any place you must be disciplined.

My Mom loved to play the slots and won $40,000. This was about 25 years ago and she used her winnings to buy "Dad" a Lincoln.
