What's good to see/where's good to eat on Kansas side of Kansas City?

Considering crossing the state line in Kansas City to have a meal or two and see a sight on the Kansas state side of the city. So much seems to be on the MO side. What do you recommend for a first-time visitor to the Kansas side?

The Country Club Plaza is on the MIssouri side. There is the Overland Park Arboretum which is nice and relaxing for a stroll. Of course, Kansas City is famous for BBQ, so go to Joe's Kansas City Bar-B-Que at 47th & Mission (Kansas side). The Shawnee Mission Indian State Historic Site is worth a visit. https://www.kshs.org/shawnee_indian
