What's fun to do in Aruba?

I'm going to Aruba next month and I've never
been there. Can I have some suggestions for some fun stuff for my girlfriend and I to do
there?

I suggest reading the book, "Don't know much about Geography." It's quite entertaining.

Definitely book dinner at the Flying Fishbone. Very casual, not cheap, but very romantic! The tables are in the sand and you can practically dangle your feet in the water. The only light is candlelight. You should also rent a jeep and take a ride to Charlies Bar for some delicious shrimp. Bring a souvenier that you can leave behind-preferably something from your home state. Continue in the jeep down to Baby Beach (5 min from Charlie's) and do a little snorkeling right off the beach. If you head past baby beach you can 4 wheel it by the shoreline and check out the wild goats in the cliffs. Jet skiing is always fun too.

So what if he posted here re: Aruba??? Lots of people on the US board have also travelled to Aruba & have plenty to say about it! Give Todd a break & try not to get so riled up about silly things like this!

Todd:

Never went but did some research on it. It is a desert island with only 17" of rain a year. It is always hot, even in December. You've passed up the rainy season Nov & Dec and if you go you'll probably have sunshine. It is a Dutch island and the people seem very friendly as I e-mailed about their properties and their slogan "One Happy Island" is no joke. Look in ranchodelcampo.com. There is horseback riding in the desert which looks like fun. They even have a drive-in on the island. Orangestaad is their capitol city. I know there are caves at the very north of the island. As you can tell, I do research before I travel to the island. Someday I'll go there. My travel agent told me Aruba has the most repeat business of all the Caribbean Islands. By the way, feel free to go in hurricane season as they are below the hurricane belt.
