what's fun in Toronto in June?

I am going to Toronto a few days early of a conference there. What is essential to see/inexpensive delicious food, reasonable accomodations etc. Will have a car and would be willing to drive outside the city.

I don't know what your interests are, but here goes...the NxNE mucic festival, antique markets at St.Lawrence centre and Harbourfront, losta great cheap & funky restaurants, Greektown, little Italy at night, lotsa touristy stuff too! No need to drive out of the city. If you want details, feel free to e-mail me (I live in Toronto) and I'll send the info along.

I also will be in Toronto for a couple of days in June and I am wondering about a moderately priced hotel in downtown area close to everything. Will be shopping, sightseeing etc. thanks

To MaryBeth and Donna,
Try the Delta Chelsea Inn at 33 Gerrard St. W. 1-800-CHELSEA (243-5732) for a nice place to stay. It's very close to Yonge Street, Eaton Centre, shopping, etc.

Thanks for all the info!

Here is a website that might interest you- www.tourism-toronto.com, if you are still looking for a hotel you should click on "Toronto Value Packages" it lists many hotels and special rates.
