jetset1 Sep 11th, 2006 07:27 PM

BayouGal~ rewind the tape, I have to teach you phonetically...

(sounds of tootsie pop being swirled at warp seed).. cigar..thong song..ebay auction.. millions..

BayouGal Sep 11th, 2006 07:28 PM

My cigars are monogamous, thank you, no philandering here! :-D

jetset1 Sep 11th, 2006 07:33 PM

If you're visiting Havana, it don't matter if you're on my flight...

eee hee hee(moonwalking away)..

jetset1 Sep 11th, 2006 07:34 PM

Is there a good reason for body hair?

JAGIRL Sep 11th, 2006 07:44 PM

Who was the first poster ever on Fodor's?

jetset1 Sep 11th, 2006 09:26 PM

If I can see the asteroid coming, should I post under "other topics"?

starrsville Sep 11th, 2006 09:30 PM

jetty, that may be the funniest one yet!

jetset1 Sep 11th, 2006 09:33 PM

yeah Starr, we're all such Fodor's lab dogs, running to put the latest out for perusal/debate and whatever.. like the saying: when you see the wave, it is too late!
Have a nice evening, J.

p.s. what in tarnation are you up so late for?

starrsville Sep 11th, 2006 09:56 PM

I fell asleep around 10 and just woke up - and the Project Runway show I missed last week is on. So, I struggled back awake to finally see what I missed.

How do our addictions define us?

(Mine seem to be Fodors, HGTV and Project Runway)

BayouGal Sep 11th, 2006 11:04 PM

What do Fodorites do when they can't sleep?

jetset1 Sep 12th, 2006 08:02 AM

What can I find here that I can't find there?

GeorgeW Sep 12th, 2006 08:48 AM

1. Who would win at Celebrity Jeopardy-Bill Clinton, Newt Gingrich or Tony Blair?
2. Who would win at Celebrity Jeopardy-Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes or Baby Suri?

JAGIRL Sep 12th, 2006 08:53 AM

GW,
Answer to question # 2 : Who is Baby Suri? :D

Definitely! Hands down! :))

jetset1 Sep 12th, 2006 08:53 AM

GeorgeW~ huh? No Rush to spar with?

jetset1 Sep 12th, 2006 08:57 AM

*Who will go into rehab next?

(no, I don't mean a Fodorite, I refer to someone on a bigger scale, ha!)

2tired2night Sep 12th, 2006 09:10 AM

"Who will go to rehab next?"

Why, the real George W., of course.

jetset1 Sep 12th, 2006 09:18 AM

2tired: ruh roh, I can sense the gloves being laced up as I type.. think I'll saddle up the old Trekkie and hit the dirt trail...
(she is seen fleeing in the ultra flattering black bike shorts, and makes a nervous laugh as she peddles away)...

starrsville Sep 12th, 2006 09:24 AM

How many aliases, excuse me, screen names can the same poster use and have banned before said poster is no longer to post on this board?

(The answer is - evidently a lot.)

GeorgeW Sep 12th, 2006 09:35 AM

I wonder if Tom Cruise changes Baby Suri's diapers?

GoTravel Sep 12th, 2006 09:47 AM

Crap. Starrsville, I did the same thing but I ended up watching some thing about Air Force One on The National Geographic Channel. I forgot that Project Runway would be on!

The good news? Dancing With The Stars!

JAGIRL Sep 12th, 2006 09:59 AM

~Has anybody ever successfully matched screen names with aliases?

~ Which poster has had the most screen names?

GoTravel Sep 12th, 2006 10:13 AM

Will someone give me a hint? I'm clueless or is it ****mom**** ?

laurelee Sep 12th, 2006 10:15 AM

How likely is it I'll see a tarantula if I go to New Mexico?

JAGIRL Sep 12th, 2006 10:32 AM

GoT :D

I'm right behind you in the clueless department dear! :))

My question : Has anyone ever been able to successfully determine the gender of m_kingdom2? Or are we all gender-confused about M_K? :?

starrsville Sep 12th, 2006 11:21 AM

Would mk consider himself/herself gender confused?

What about poster with both male and female persona on this board?

How does said poster come up with their faux scenerios/ history?

JAGIRL Sep 12th, 2006 11:24 AM

What about poster with both male and female persona on this board?

:0 Really? That happens?

starrsville Sep 12th, 2006 11:25 AM

How do first time posters conveniently stumble upon and post to old thread that somehow also serve as ads? Hmmm...

starrsville Sep 12th, 2006 11:26 AM

JAGIRL, I wonder...

Does the dual gender amongst the varied aliases contribute to the gender confusion, or does the gender confusion precede the other problems?

jetset1 Sep 12th, 2006 11:32 AM

* I'll be happy to prove I'm a girl with my glamorama shot from a Nordy's makeover y'all.. never mind that it was some time ago, I still have the same general attitude;)

p.s. when intelligence and insanity collide, which is the best day for posting on Fodor's?

starrsville Sep 12th, 2006 11:34 AM

How does glamour gal define "best day"?
Best to avoid the convergence?
Best to jump right into the fray?

Fodorite018 Sep 12th, 2006 11:38 AM

GoT--On Tripadvisor, ***mom*** definitely wins for the most screen names! Wins a few other categories as well.

GeorgeW Sep 12th, 2006 11:49 AM

What actor ate borscht with an egg in it?

anamaria Sep 12th, 2006 12:07 PM

starrsville,lol.
I tried to post back on that other thread but they had figured out I'm a liar too.! I better not give any wine to my 17 yr. old!

jetset1 Sep 12th, 2006 12:40 PM

Starrsville~ I'll stick with Friday for my really edgy stuff from here on out..

*Which potato chip is closest to your real life personality?

heck, maybe even the non- hunters would be funny, HA!

starrsville Sep 12th, 2006 12:43 PM

Cape Cod reduced fat for me - but I have no idea what that says about my personality. But, I love Cape Cod and I need to reduce my fat - so I guess it works.

How much meaner are some posters on this board than in "real" life?

jetset1 Sep 12th, 2006 12:57 PM

hmm, good one Starr.

Sometimes I picture people with an old ratty bathrobe and a giant Hershey bar with spit running down their chin..another reason I should avoid fermented grapes this fall.

jetset1 Sep 12th, 2006 01:01 PM

I used to like Tim's Jalapeno, then I liked the doritos jalapeno(yeah, a foreigner but whatever).. now dumb Lay's has those crunchy ones which remind me of my old fave Maui Kitchn Cooked or whatever.. I try to avoid that aisle and head towards the heart healthy nuts!

anamaria Sep 12th, 2006 01:10 PM

starrsville, Some people are really mean. I couldn't believe how that other poster ended. And it all started innocently...in real life they are meaner.

JAGIRL Sep 12th, 2006 01:11 PM

If you are what you eat...is Jetset a ((l))heart((l)) healthy nut? :D

Where is the Fodorville fire ((?))
