If you are going to Las Vegas during the summer months June-September Las Vegas is very hot!! (105F) dress appropriately. If you are gambling dress code is very relaxed (shorts & tank tops are acceptable). For shows and and better restaurants casual slacks (no jeans) and sport shirts are OK. Rarely do you need a sports jacket & the only people I see wearing ties & suits are the rich & or famous.

Same as above.
They really don't care as long as you are spending money. You will see every manner of dress known to man and some you never thought you'd see people wear in public.
We go to Vegas alot and were just there yesterday and it was very hot. Over 100 during the day. Make sure you are wearing something cool. If doing a show you should dress nicer. However, slacks and a shirt is fine. No need for sport coat or fancy dresses.
As an example, my husband and I went to a nice steak dinner on Saturday night (about $45 per person, no alcohol drinks) and he was in shorts and a casual rayon button-up shirt with a hawaiian theme.
Just be comfortable, have fun, and don't let them take too much of your money!!!

I'm probably the wrong person to ask this question. I live in Southern California and hate the hot weather. Hence, I love going into buildings with the air cranked on. For example, when I went to Hong Kong I had read about how hot and humid it gets so everywhere you go they freeze you out. I brought a light coverup but never needed it.
Some casinos can be a bit cool but not always. You are safe just bringing one in case you need it, especially if you normally get a little chilled.
