As a commuter who lives near Kent Narrows and works near the White House, I can tell you that there will be no Bay Bridge backup in March barring a severe ice storm as happened on election day in February.

Stevensville is not worth a visit.

Some of my favorite restaurants:
Kent Narrows(Grasonvile)- The Narrows. Typical Eastern Shore seafood and steak.
Rock Hall- Bay Wolf. Eclectic Eastern Shore fare with a graft of Austrian dishes(one of the owners if from there).
Oxford- The Robert Morris Inn. I always get the crab cake platter, one which is fried and the other baked. The Old Bay fries are excellent.
St. Michael's- The Town Dock.
Tilghman Island- Harrison's Chesapeake Inn, Eastern Shore dining done family style.
Secretary- The Suicide Bridge restaurant.

I forgot to answer your parking question. It won't be a problem on a Monday morning. You can either park on the street or in the garage.

Anybody got any Annapolis favorite restaurants??

Piccola Roma on Main Street, but I don't think they are open for lunch. Once you get there you will see many to choose from.

In Annapolis, my parents very much recommend Northwinds near the football stadium.

Northwinds not open for lunch either.

Does anyone know anything about Carroll's Creek Restaurant?

I like that it has free parking!

Just 2 more weeks - can't wait!!!

last night, we ate at andrew evans' new thai restaurant in easton and it was excellent and reasonably priced. it is small, only 7 tables plus 8 seats around a bar. they don't take reservations. if you like thai, you can check out the menu here...

i'd suggest you start a new thread asking for lunch recommendations in annapolis. there are quite a few people that know that town that won't necessarily open this thread. and on a thread the other day someone mentioned construction in the downtown area creating a mess.

wanderer1, I know you are leaving soon, but we're on the Shore for the week and the Chestertown farmer's market opening early since Easter is so early. Should be a nice Saturday at the market in Chestertown.
