What to see Coeur D'Alene to Whitefish & best route or most to see
We are leaving for Glacier next week driving from Seattle to Coeur D'Alene and from there to Whitefish. What route is the best from CDA to Whitefish and/or has the most to see? We are 2 adults and and 8 yo kiddo.
I have been told to drive North from CDA to Bonners Ferry and then take Hwy 2 into Whitefish. Others have said it is prettier and more interesting to take Hwy 90 to hwy 200 and then go north up hwy 93.
Any thoughts?
If we do go up hwy 93, is the bison range worth a stop if we are going to be in Yellowstone later in the trip?
Thanks for your help!

Since you plan on going to Yellowstone anyway, go to Whitefish on US 2. When you are done at Glacier, go south on US 93 to Missoula and I-90 to Bozeman or Livingston depending on which entrance you use to Yellowstone.
Let's hope that there are no more landslides blocking the GTTS road this year.
