What to do at MSP Intl Apt?

What can you do if you have some hours of waiting at
MSP Intl Apt?

Well, it depends on how many hours you have at MSP, but if you've got three or four (or more) you could easily take a cab over to the Mall of America, which is within sight of the airport, and there's plenty to do there: rides in the Camp Snoopy theme park, the Underwater World aquarium attraction, and of course more shopping than you could ever possibly want to do. You can also take the city bus from the airport to the mall and back, but a cab would be faster, and I can't imagine it would cost much considering how close together the two places are.

The Mall of America has a free shuttle bus from the Airport. It just takes a few minutes to get over there. It's not going to be a cutural highlight, but it's a sufficient spectacle of American excess that you will certainly be kept entertained. What's more, there's not much else to do around MSP airport!

OK, I'm a lucky <g> person who gets to go to a workshop near the MSP airport next weekend. Glad to know the Mall of America is nearby. Ahh, not great culture but, hey, when in Minneapolis, you've got to go right? What I'm looking for is an inexpensive place to stay near the airport. I didn't realize the Mall was near there, too. Since people come from other countries to JUST go to the Mall, perhaps there are some economy hotels nearby???
