What the heck! Fodors editor - Where are my posts?
I have posted 3 new messages in 3 days and they keep getting deleted - I've searched under the topic and under my screen name and nothing. One post was answered a few times before it was deleted. Nothing raunchy - just questions about So CA vacation with my toddler!
Am I just as lost as my posts? Where are they?
Thanks!

ReneeS, you're a victim of the usual confusion here at Fodors. Posts move down the line very quickly and are hard to find. The search function usually won't bring up posts from at least the past few days (sometimes it will never bring them up).
When you come to the Fodor's website, simply click on your screen name in the upper left hand corner of this screen, right next to where it says "welcome". It will bring up all the posts you have done (including other posts you have responded to). But even that isn't always working so well. You may have to click on it a couple of times to bring up all your posts.

Thanks all for pulling up my posts. I clicked on my screen name several times in the past few days and got lots of my old posts - even dated past years - but not these most recent ones. I'm certain when I click on my name now they will all come up for sure
.
Patrick - do you mean the most recent posts often don't come up in a search for a few days? That's good to know.
Thanks again!

I've found that clicking on my name at the very top of the page has better success at pulling up my recent posts than clicking on my name within a post. They do go to different links. And if you click your name up top and don't see what you're looking for, try hitting refresh a few times and it may show up.
