Thanks for the great responses thus far. It is interesting to see how people view things from different perpectives. Any more comments would be appreciated.

Visited a number of years ago, and was amused by how the (at that time) large hotels had moving walkways that went IN but in order to leave you were on your own (on foot).

I hesitated for years,but when I finally gave in we had a blast.Our children are grown and it was a good place for my wife and I to kick up our heels a little and have some quality time together.I enjoyed all the glitz,trashy or not.It's an American icon.
