what side of plane to sit on? to/fro NYC (laguardia) to see manhattan

booking seats, flying in late june, DFW to laguardia, and would love to let kids see manhattan from air on flight in and out. know it can vary, but what is your opinion? thanks

From CLT or ATL, I've almost always had a great view on the left side of the plane. Can usually catch Philly too.

You can't be sure - since the approach can vary based on prevailing weather. If people say the left you can try it - but not a guarantee (I always sit on the aisle so don;t have - or want - views).
