What's to do in or near Sioux City, Iowa?

I will be in Sioux City next Sunday and Monday. What is there to do in or near there other than going to the casino, and eating at Green Gables and Minerva's? I like museums (any type - art, toys, food, etc), interesting neighborhood's to walk in, factory tours, etc.

Sioux City's pretty dull, unfortunately. Omaha, on the other hand, is only about an hour and a half away, and has a lot more to see and do. Any possibility you could make a brief road trip?

I will have already spent two days in Omaha and hotel is already prepaid for Sioux City. Any places near Sioux City? Any good restaurants -- local favorites?
Any good place to walk around?

You could check out the Lewis and Clark Nature Center in Sioux City and visit the Floyd Monument, trails along the Sioux and/or Missouri River (near the Casino on the Sioux City side).

Also, since you are coming in late fall, the trees still have a few leaves on them, so a trip down along the Loess Hills scenic byway to Ft. Atkinson in NEbraska or a couple of nature centers on the Iowa side might be of interest.

Go to LeMars (about 15-25 miles I think) to the Blue Bunny Ice Cream Center, a good place to pig out on Blue Bunny Ice Cream in the "Ice Cream Capital" of the world haha. I think.

The previous poster is right that there isn't a great deal to do, but always a possibility to find something of interest.
