What's the best Steak House in Las Vegas

Ok, we can't eat everywhere, but my travelin buddy definitely wants steak one night!
What's the best? Not necessarily the most expensive, but the absolute best!!
I really appreciate all of the ideas people have given me this week. Just bear with me one more day. We are out of here until next Wednesday!!

Mmmmm.... Steak.... My favorite!
My vote goes to Prime followed closely by Delmonico's.
We went to Prime for our anniversary and it was one of the best dining experiences we've had in Vegas. The restaurant it beautiful (with a view of the fountains), the staff is nothing short of amazing, and the food is fantastic.
We spent around $100 for 2 (no alcohol) and it was worth every penny. The waiter brought us 12 different sauces for our steaks at no extra charge. I got the filet mignon (sp?) and it melted in my mouth. Now I'm hungry!!
Have a great trip!

My vote is for the Palm ($$$$) in the Forum at Caesar's or Morton's ($$$) on E Flamingo. Prime at the Bellagio is also supposed to be good but I haven't tried it myself.

I like Gallagher's in NYNY. It is a different kind of steak & after Morton's, Ruth Chris', Delmonicos, Etc. it is just different, but also very good.

I keep hearing that The Steak House in Circus Circus, of all places, is supposed to be really good...

Prime is worth the trip, but make a reservation. We had dinner there back in April and I can't wait to go back. If you want to view the fountains during your meal, make a reserv. ASAP and request it. Morton's are a chain along with Ruth Chris, so you can go there anywhere anytime.

I agree with Prime, but the Range at Harrah's is shockingly good.

Any of these should fit the bill:

* Circus Circus Steak House
* Lawry's (off strip)
* Kokomo's at Mirage

Have fun.

Just curious, simpsonc, how many times you've been to Prime? How do they compare?

While I'm not a Harrah's fan, I really like the Range for steak. Have been several times (I'm usually in LV with German colleagues and they insist on steak at least one night) and the Range has always been wonderful - good service, nice relaxed feel and very good classic steakhouse food. I also find the shaded windows and quiet decor a nice switch from all the LV glitz.
